Aeration & Seeding in West County, STL
Aeration and Seeding in Chesterfield, Town & Country, & West County, St. Louis, MO
If your lawn's soil is compacted, then nutrients are unlikely to find their way to the roots of your grass. We offer a thorough aeration and seeding service that not only grows new turf, but also helps existing grass feed off the necessary nutrients to thrive.
But how does it work, and why should you do it?
The illustration below demonstrates the aeration process
Here's the rundown
Our process starts by breaking up your thatch and compacted hard soil in order to supply new nutrients into your lawn. This step is crucial because thatch build-up and compacted soil block necessary nutrients and grass roots from spreading.
Once these layers are broken up, your lawn will start its healing process. Once we finish, we'll leave those cylinder cores on your yard to recycle extra nutrients into your soil. This will speed up the process of growing a thicker, healthier lawn.
We'll then spread a generous heaping of seed onto your lawn to ensure every inch is covered so your lawn starts sprouting new grass.
After a few short weeks, our treatment will begin to show, and your lawn will be better prepared for the notoriously unpredictable St. Louis weather.
Although we offer aeration by itself, we recommend lawn seeding as an added bonus for your lawn. This is because seeding is more likely to sprout when it finds its way into the freshly made cores of your yard.
In other words, your grass will become fuller with aeration AND seeding, rather than aeration alone.

We offer our core aeration and seeding in the spring and fall!
We offer our aeration & seeding services to residential, commercial, and HOA property owners in Chesterfield, Wildwood, Town & Country, MO and throughout the surrounding areas.
*Our seeding treatments are safe and pet-friendly! All you need to do is let our treatments dry before letting your pets use your yard again.

"Should I Aerate My Lawn?"
Aerating is fast and efficient way to boost the vitality of your lawn.
But doing it yourself is another thing.
You'll first have to rent or buy an aerator for around $80-$300 depending on the route you take. Then imagine how tiring moving around a 100lb+ piece of machinery can be. And if your yard is of decent size or has hills, assume it'll be much harder.
Also, make sure you use the right seed if you want a uniform lawn. There's nothing wrong with mixing grasses, but just know your yard will have different looking patches if that's the case.
Is all this work worth doing it yourself?
People try it themselves until they realize someone could do it and ensure it's done with 100% efficiency and effectiveness.
Would you be okay with aerating, but not getting your desired results?
Would you be okay with wasting your time, energy, and money for nothing?
But seriously, why take the time, energy, and most importantly, MONEY, to do a task yourself without knowing if it will work? That's like having to pay $20 for every mile you run, and not be guaranteed to lose weight.
Will you risk it and try it yourself?
Or...
Will you choose us to give your lawn the best foundation for success?
